I'm the new volunteer Children's Librarian for the Fort Valley Community Library. We have regular programs for children on Wednesdays, at 10 am, and beginning June 11, we will be having a summer reading program on the theme Catch the Reading Bug. We can also offer special programs. I would like to integrate more artists of all kinds into our programming, especially musicians and dancers, artists who enjoy working with and inspiring kids. We do hands-on programs that allow kids of different ages (2 - 12) and abilities to participate in a very positive way. We naturally appreciate volunteers, but we do have a small program budget.
