A 6-session guitar workshop is being offered starting on Monday, June 9, 2008, 7:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Edinburg School, 508 Piccadilly Street, Edinburg, VA 22824. The cost is $60.00 payable to Shenandoah County Parks & Recreation (SCPR). This workshop is for intermediate and advanced guitar or bass players who are looking for the opportunity to play with others. Participants will be able to select from a wide variety of music and styles, including (but not limited to) jazz, blues, Latin, country and rock. Of course, the most important objective is to have fun playing together and to select music you want to learn.We will meet bi-weekly, and schedule adjustments will be made to accommodate vacations.
