(Millwood, Va) - Historic Long Branch is requesting artist participation in their first Viewer's Choice Art Competition. Historic Long Branch, an historic house museum and farm that sits on 400 acres of rural Virginian land, boasts picturesque rolling hills and gardens, herds of horses, and stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Long Branch invites artists to create pieces of art, using any medium of their choosing, of the historic house and grounds during their Grand Re-Opening and History & Harvest Weekend, scheduled for October 25th-27th, 2013. All interested artists should notify Historic Long Branch by October 18, 2013. To be eligible for the contest, all artists must sign in at Historic Long Branch between October 25 and October 27, 2013 and create at least part of their work on-site.
