On Saturday, November 14, 2009, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community is invited to attend the Sustainability Summit, which focuses on creating more sustainable ways of living.

This is a FREE event, open to the public!

NEW TIME: 12-5pm

Location: Memorial Hall
(the former Harrisonburg High School)

The Harrisonburg Sustainability Summit builds on a successful Mayors Sustainability Summit convened on May 30, 2009. That event brought over 160 people and 60 partner organizations together for 30 breakout sessions.

Topics ranged from energy to local foods to transportation to historic preservation to land and water conservation and November 14 will be no different!

We will come together to share successes, create and strengthen partnerships, and explore ways to address challenges.
